The role will be site based, with critical responsibility for the management and success of the project, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental, programme and the cost/value of operations.\n\nDuties:\n\nAs Site Manager your duties will include:\n\n * Providing leadership, and energy;\n\n * Controlling prelims, and project budgets;\n\n * Ensuring the construction works run to strict programme;\n\n * Managing pre-construction activities;\n\n * Maintaining strict quality control procedures;\n\n * Procurement and management of the supply chain;\n\n * Management of change – client/Company/supply chain;\n\n * Lead regular site meetings with all interested parties;\n\n * Conducting regular site safety checks;\n\n * Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems;\n\n * Maintaining effective long term relationships with the customer and their representatives/advisors;\n\n * Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System;\n\n * Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems;\n\n * Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc. in order to maximise commercial profitability;\n\n * Seeking and developing ongoing continuous improvement;\n\n * Providing aftercare services to the customer;\n\n * Implementing and maintaining the Company's Policies for Sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and Development etc.
and acting as an exemplar of the Company culture and values;\n\n * Coaching and motivating subordinates;\n\n * To support and be familiar with own role and responsibility in respect of Business Continuity Planning. Ensuring that team members are also aware of the plans and communicates same;\n\n * Any other duties relevant to the role.\n\nRequirements:\n\nTo be considered for this Site Manager role you must meet the following criteria:\n\n- Knowledge of Building / construction sector.\n- Previous employment as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, Build Manager or similar role.\n\n-Previous new build project experience ideally.\n- Previous experience ideally in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Industrial, Retail, Education or Healthcare.\n- Previous Main Contractor employment is essential.\n\nRemuneration:\n\nThe successful Site Manager will receive:\n\n-Competitive Basic (Dependent on experience)\n-Car Allowance\n-Pension\n\n-Bonus\n\nTo be considered for this vacancy or to find out more information please apply now.\n\nServices advertised by Talk Recruitment are that of an employment business and/or agency
