THE COMPANY:

We are specialists in complex high quality Castings. Our extensive facilities and experienced personnel provide the complete casting solution. We are a market leader in Prototype, Motorsport and low volume series Castings supported by our Engineering Tooling and Machining capabilities. This appointment, based in Shropshire, arises to support our continuing growth.

THE ROLE:

Your prime responsibility will be Design for Manufacture (DFM) of pattern tooling for our foundry processes using CAD solid modelling systems.

You will provide support and problem solving within the foundry and customer environments and be proactive towards continuous improvement in a team working environment.

Key performance measures will include: right first time on time KPI&amp;rsquo;s; Commercial understanding; and Customer confidentiality.

THE PERSON:

You must have a CAD background (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or Pro E) and have experience of solid modelling with any of these systems.

Experience of CAD design within the foundry environment would be an advantage but design of tools more generally will be acceptable.

It will be helpful if you have some knowledge of CNC machinery, including data control (Hass and Mazak in particular).
